Dr. Jones’ distinguished career in securities and portfolio management deepens Human Capital Assets approach to Valuation.

Frank has authored five books and more than 50 articles and book chapters on finance, financial markets and various financial instruments.  Most recently, the Foundations of Financial Markets and  Institutions  with  Dr. Frank J. Fabozzi  was published by Prentice Hall in 2008.

A recognized thought leader in finance as well as senior manager, Dr. Jones is currently the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Salient Wealth Management and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Securities Exchange (the first all electronic US options exchange).  For over a decade Frank was the EVP and CIO of the Guardian Insurance Company with one of the largest world-wide portfolios under management.

Dr. Jones’ professional career was also noteworthy for his senior management, and Board of Director roles with Merrill Lynch, Barclays DeZoete Wedd Government Securities, Kidder Peabody, the NYSE, and the Options Clearing Corporation.

Currently a Professor in the Accounting and Finance Department at San Jose State University, Dr. Jones holds a Ph.D in Economics from Stanford University, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, an MS in Nuclear Engineering from Cornell University as well as BA and BS from the University of Notre Dame.
